Street Dogs - Fading American Dream (2006)

In a day and age where style has taken priority over substance, honest albums from honest bands tend to be few and far between. Luckily, there's still a few out there, and the Street Dogs continue to give hope that punk and rock can blend harmoniously and shine through the shitstorm of modern rock and faceless punk.

Bars - Introducing (2004)

Bars steps up to the plate with a non-stop, stripped-down, sonic onslaught. The debut is laden with a pissed-off rock n' roll swagger that is as pummeling as it is catchy. Regardless of perspective or expectations, Bars make rock n' roll, and make it explode. Formed in the summer of 2003, the Boston quintet pooled their influences and channeled them into a raw, focused outlet absent of gimmicks or facades.

Amazing French death metal band, great lyrics, great riffs, great guitar work, drum work, song structure, etc. This cd has been kicking my ass lately. It needs to kick yours now too. Theres no shitty songs, boring parts, etc. It's just solid, punishing death metal, beginning to end. If you're gonna listen to any death metal listen to this. A Forest Of Stars - The Corpse Of Rebirth (1888)

Victorian Occult Psychedelic Black Metal. You'll probably find the voice annoying at first, but it might grow on you. The singer sounds like Jarvis Cocker in corpse paint, off his medication taking lessons from the singer of macabre. The music is very neurosis at times, with lots of violins, ambient and a bit folky sometimes but predominantly black metal/doomy shit. Lots of build ups, really experimental, songs are pretty long would probably make a good movie soundtrack if you had a movie about a zombie scarecrow terrorizing a farm with his army of crows that he's supposed to scare off, but instead aligns with. blah blah blah. download.

Behind Enemy Lines - Know Your Enemy (2005)

Former Aus-Rotten lyricist and vocalist Dave moves on with former Aus-Rotten drummer Matt, along with Bill Chamberlain on guitar (formerly of The Pist, React, etc.), and another Matt on bass.
