Eyelid - If It Kills (1998)

Forming in Los Angeles in 1994, comprised of former members of Strife and Consequence, Eyelid quickly became a band to be reckoned with. Their music’s force was first demonstrated on their debut record "...Days Infected" released on the Ammunition Records label in 1996. Their goal was to sound unlike any of their contemporaries and the release ushered in a complex sound that was virtually uncomparable at the time.

With equal parts hardcore, indie rock and metal Hardesty set themselves apart from a sometimes watered down scene. Members went on to form Dead In Hollywood and Frontiers.

The band was formed in early 1998 under the original name Christiansen in Louisville, Kentucky. The band molded into what is now Your Highness Electric in early 2005. The music they play is cloudlike and omnipotent. Heavy and clear, like fresh spring rain that leaves one feeling refreshed and invigorated.
