Krakatoa - Channel Static Blackout (1999)

Channel Static Blackout stands as a powerful metal album, but without the shame that usually accompanies metal albums. Self-dismissed as one of the most unimportant and obscure bands of the '90s, the tragedy is that they would be leading the metallic movement currently in hardcore if they ever reformed.

Letters In Binary - Pretty And Perpendicular (2006)

Chaotic metal-hardcore hybrid Letters in Binary take everything to the most extreme it can possibly be. With mathematically precise time signature changes, you could mistake this for the next Dillinger Escape Plan album but dig deeper and youll find that Pretty and Perpendicular is much more than that. As tortured as the job market in their hometown of Detroit, Letters in Binary set jazzcore ablaze with terrific guitar blasts and stellar chaotic yet accurate drumming.

We Have Seen The Enemy... is their debut LP and has all the classic elements of a good record by a band with lots of great albums to come in the future.

Shadows Land - Terminus Ante Quem (2006)

Shadows Land plays the same charging, fast pace cannon force as other polish bands, but they also incorporate techno sound bites into the mix. Their intros and longer sections in the middle of songs can be hit or miss, but they seem to mix it all well. It may not be for everybody, but it is worth listening to. I discovered this cd again riding the train to band practice and made the travel much more enjoyable. Take it for what it is, it's a good cd that opens more doors to what can be done in this genre.

Mausoleia - Being (2005)

Yes, It has been a very long time since I've posted anything on here. I have been very busy with work, my son, and many other things. But please be patient, I will post more in the future and will get requests squared away.

Mausoleia play a typical but very well done style of death metal. They are slower than the newer style of death metal that is around now but the guitar riffs and drum mix is creative. I would suggest this to the people wanting to find the old 90's style death metal but with a new twist. Download and enjoy.

Meantime - Self Titled (2007)

Meantime hail from the humid underbelly that is Daytona Beach, Florida. What they bring to the table is their own metal flavor of mid tempo hardcore that is reminiscent to the 90s era in sound and ethics. This combination quickly gained Meantime a strong audience throughout the Florida hardcore community. Their debut 'S/T' 7" is only a brief demonstration of the blunt force that is Meantime.
