Santa Karla - A Thousand Deaths (2009)

Santa Karla are a crust inspired metalcore band out of the UK. A Thousand Deaths is their debut release and has been getting rave reviews all over the UK. Having been members of other well established Brittish bands its no surprise that Santa Karla rock with as much force as they do. Can't wait to hear more.

Tusk - Get Ready (reissue) (2006)

Avant, progged out, psych' helicopter grind. This is what it started it all. Before there was Pelican there was Tusk, comprised of 3/4 Pelican. Get Ready for one hell of a ride. This release has been remastered, contains bonus tracks, and new artwork by Arron Turner of ISIS.

This split Ep consists of 2 German bands getting together and putting out 2 new songs each. Amen 81 stick to their norm and put out another 2 great Punk/ Hardcore songs. Meanwhile Bubonix gets a little bit heavier on this release and throw down some great crustier Hardcore themselves.

Bubonix - Capsaicin (2008)

Bubonix is a German Punk/Rock 'n Roll band that have no objections blurring the lines between genres. They blend elements of Melody, Fury and raw emotion into all their songs which give them truely a unique sound. Capsaicin may be the last album released by Bubonix but it doesn't sound like they are ready to give things just up yet, lets hope not.

Ignominious Incarceration - Of Winter Born (2009)

Ripping from Bath, UK; Ignominious Incarceration pack a lot of styles into their version of Death Metal. They are well equipped with many various styles of metal that it can be hard to just put them in a single genre and throw them in the dirt. They keep the tempo flowing perfectly with mixes of thrash, brutal death, and a few breakdowns to rip shit up. I just threw a few bands to what they somewhat sound like but it is up to you on how to think of them. For myself, I put them in the same category as Benighted; death, grind, and fucking brutal. Download and enjoy.

A righteous genre buggering from the combined pricks of JORDON BLILIE & CODY VOTOLATO (BLOOD BROTHERS), GABE SERBIAN & JUSTIN PEARSON (THE LOCUST), and NICK ZINNER (YEAH YEAH YEAHS). Like fingernails singing on a chalkboard the band gives it and gives it all. "It's kinda like if Alien and Predator started a band instead of fighting each other."-Jordon Blilie.
